When planning your event please remember to leave room for the entertainment (face painting, show, etc.
Zaney Lainie needs to move freely around the children....
She has those "BIG O" feet that have to move around.
Silly clown show-sometimes I use a back drop to add excitement & color to the show if there is room? Area needed: 6'x 5' area + guest seating
Puppet shows--I use a doorway puppet theater and gather the kids around that area for the simple puppet party package.
If I am performing with the Ultimate puppet package I will need a 5' x 6' area for the free standing stage + room for guest seating. Picture of this stage is in the puppet section of this site.
How to figure the time you will need your entertainer
Time is based on the activity you choose.... good rule of thumb...
*Shows with dancing & music are about 30-40 minutes
*very simple face painting or balloons..... 1-2 minutes per activity
*fancier face painting or balloons..... 3-5 minutes per activity
Temperatures & Balloons
**** Temperatures **** When it is hot outside, keep in mind my costume & wig is very HOT!!!
We don't want to hear the "clown is down" <:o) 90*-95* I do need shade & a fan to work outside 96* or hotter I need to work inside 60* or lower I do need some type of shelter from the wind 50* lower I need to be inside
Balloons
Balloons are temperamental, they do not like the extremeheat, extremecold, very high windsor grass! If the weather is not cooperating and balloons are to be at your event, I will have to pre-make the balloons ahead of time. But keep in mind if this happens my time will be shortened at the party due to before party balloon prep. Due to insurance reasons we are not allowed to give children 2 and under balloon creations (choking hazard). Sorry but I must follow this rule.
Guest participation
Kids Lainie is a silly clown be prepared to have some fun.
Teens Having older teen guest, no problem Zaney is great with teens, too.
Adults Watch out adults, Lainie will include you in the activities, too

Please keep in mind I am there to entertain the children.... While Zaney Lainie is doing her Silly Clown show or a puppet show performance, I do ask that if the adults be quite just like the kids. If the adults want to visit and talk could they please be in a different area then where the entertaining is at with the kids.
**Warning** If the parents want to stay and are noisy.... I have a fun/nice way to get the point across with the help of the kids, that they need to be quiet. :o)
Last but not least....
Parents when the performance has started...... please do not come up to me and ask for the show to stop so you can do the pinata', cake, presents, etc....
Believe it or not I have had this to me recently 3 times now.
It is not fair to the kids or myself to be in the middle of dancing or a puppet show to ask me to stop...
